Enjoy a tour of our brewery
Hofbräu München is the first brewery in Munich to open its doors to interested visitors. Every week we provide guided tours of the traditional Munich brewery, complete with informative and enjoyable glimpses behind the scenes. The tours start out at the new Hofbräu Visitors Center, and lead you through the brewing processes at Hofbräu München from the raw ingredients to the finished product, taking in various stations on the way, such as the brewhouse, the fermenting room, the conditioning tanks and the filling lines. During the tour you are invited to sample freshly tapped unfiltered beer at the beer bar in the fermenting room and also have the opportunity to enjoy a hearty Bavarian ploughman's lunch. Round off your tour with a visit to our souvenir shop with its broad selection of gifts and keepsakes.

How to take part:
The tours of the brewery start at the Hofbräu Visitors Center at Hofbräuallee 1 in eastern Munich's Riem district. When you arrive, check in with the doorkeeper to receive your visitors pass. Sufficient parking space is available on the brewery grounds.

Brewery tour times and group sizes:
Regular tours in German:
Tuesdays at 10 am;
Thursdays at 10 am and 12.30 pm (without Bavarian ploughman's lunch)
Tours in English:
Between Tuesdays and Thursdays by appointment only. Please contact us in good time (at least two weeks in advance) to arrange a date.

Group size per guided tour:
Between ten (at least) and 30 persons (at the most)

Length of the brewery tour:
The tour lasts between 60 and 90 minutes (without Bavarian ploughman's lunch).

Prices:
Children over sixteen and adults, not incl. a snack: €6 per person
Children over sixteen and adults, incl. a snack*: €10 per person
(*A pretzel with slices of traditional veal loaf or a pair of white Bavarian sausages, plus a 0.5l beverage)
