Hofbräu München at the Oktoberfest
The excitement for the Oktoberfest is huge. On September 16, it's "O'zapft is!" again at the world's most famous and largest folk festival! Already in 1810, at the first Oktoberfest celebrating the wedding of Prince Ludwig and his Therese, a beer tap of the at that time "Königliches Hofbräuhaus" was present to serve the courtly festivities. Since the brewers wanted to offer a special beer for the annual festival, they developed the Hofbräu Oktoberfestbier. With its golden color and fine foam, the drinkable festival beer is a very special highlight of the beer year.
