Hofbräu
Original
A Munich Beer Classic
Since our founding, we have been deeply rooted as a traditional brewery in Munich and are rightfully allowed to call our beer Munich Beer (PGI). The bottom-fermented Hofbräu Original embodies Bavarian coziness and the unique atmosphere of the beer metropolis Munich. Its full-bodied, subtly spicy flavor with a distinct hop aroma has made it world-famous. A beer with character!

Elegant and Delicately Spicy
A true classic among beer enthusiasts is our Hofbräu Original - as unique as the Hofbräuhaus itself. In the glass, it presents a bright golden yellow with a snow-white foam head. A delicate, spicy aroma with a hint of citrus rises to the nose. The flavor features a harmonious blend of light caramel notes and floral hop aroma. An excellently balanced pale lager with a refined, bitter finish.
When enjoying a hearty gathering with friends, Hofbräu Original tastes especially good from a stein with sausages and cheese, salads, roast pork, potato and dumpling dishes, pizza, pasta, and steamed fish.
