Enjoy Beer Responsibly
As a manufacturer of alcoholic beverages, we are committed to promoting responsible consumption among our customers and partners. This includes understanding when alcohol should be avoided—such as for children and adolescents under 16, pregnant and breastfeeding women, or while driving.
As a member of the Bavarian Brewers' Association, we support numerous initiatives such as “Enjoy Beer Responsibly,” “Don’t Drink & Drive,” “Drink Responsibly,” “Beer? Sorry, only over 16,” and “Pregnant. Naturally Alcohol-Free!”
We are committed to ensuring that all our partners in distribution, trade, and gastronomy adhere to these guidelines. Furthermore, we adhere to voluntary codes of conduct regarding commercial communication for alcoholic beverages. These codes ensure that children and adolescents are neither targeted by advertising nor encouraged to consume alcohol. Therefore, we consciously avoid advertising in environments frequented by children and adolescents; for example, we do not sponsor kindergarten or school festivals with beer or branded promotional items. In our gastronomy operations, we ensure that there are no happy hours or flat-rate parties. At our flagship location, the Hofbräuhaus, we even go beyond legal requirements and serve alcohol only to individuals over 18.
