Our beers are pure natural products. Only water, malt, and hops belong in the beer glass. And for this, the Bavarian Purity Law, the oldest still valid consumer protection law in the world, has ensured for over 500 years. Since 1906, the Purity Law, supplemented by the ingredient yeast, has applied throughout Germany.

Economic and ecological actions are not opposites for Hofbräu Munich. Instead, we strive for a balance between long-term economic success and a continuous process of ecological improvement. We have been EMAS validated since 2001 and have implemented numerous measures to reduce CO2 and other sustainability projects over the past 20 years:
